May I Overcome!!

May those who read this post in its entirety be Blessed! May your eyes be opened!

Its only late morning and i feel so blessed and encouraged.

When i was eating my breakfast i suddenly thought about you(bf). i was thinking how God has accepted us and blessed us so much so far. He gave me a chance, He gave you a chance. God is a God of grace and mercy, i know. Im grateful for that but i know that He has the power to withdraw His blessings from us too. so i felt fearful suddenly. i know time is short. and i haven been completely faithful in doing my part to help you, and neither for you. I was kind of lazy and feel the lack of urgency. but there is a need for urgency. at least, i should do MY part so God can do the rest! i know time is short. i dont know why.

so i went back to my room and began to speak to God in my heart. I know ive been weak in my faith, not being able to breakthrough, lest helping my peer. Then i read the Bible. I came to Revelation, and yeahh God opened my eyes to things that i didnt see in the past when i read Revelation.

In the first part of Revelation, God was speaking to the Churches, but as I read, i know God is speaking to me as well.

Chapter 2

4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love[for God]. 5 Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. 6 But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

10b Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.

11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death.

17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.

26 To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations—

27 ‘He will rule them with an iron scepter;
he will dash them to pieces like pottery’—

just as I have received authority from my Father. 28 I will also give him the morning star. 29 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Chapter 3

1b I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. 2 Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God. 3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.

4 Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. 5 He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels. 6 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

7b These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. 8 I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 12 Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name. 13 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.

19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

21 To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

Chapter 7

14b “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore,

“they are before the throne of God
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.
16 Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat upon them,
nor any scorching heat.
17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd;
he will lead them to springs of living water.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Chapter 20

11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Chapter 22

7 “Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book.”

10 Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, because the time is near.

12 “Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

Amen! May YOU be blessed by the Word of God! God keeps speaking to me in His Word "To him who overcomes" "He who overcomes"....

I had been trying to overcome but lack the determination and strongwill to really overcome myself and my weaknesses. But God says He will give us these things when we overcome! which is so uplifting!

Overcoming doesnt seem that difficult afterall after knowing that God truly desires us to overcome and not be dead and there will be rewards in heaven waiting for us! God helps those who helps themselves.

So let us set our hearts and be determined to overcome ourselves and seek God! Obey His commands and He will show Himself to us- that is His promise to us. so let God point to us what He wants us to obey Him specifically everyday by reading His Word!

Let us not slack anymore!

omg this song is fate! a facebook friend uploaded this on fb and i was watching, and i alrd like this song right away.. then as i watch i realise i rmb this couple in the video! they were the ones whom i told zy about, the guy's fiancee was really pretty but jus b4 they got married she got into a car accident and became disabled and disfigured. but the guy continued to stay by her side. so awesome! this IS LOVE! <3

today was not a smooth sailing day! it started well though! with someone early in the morning wishing me good morning! :) thats like the only best thing. hehe.

then aft that it started when my fren didnt go for sch cos she say she got headache :/
oh wells, sch was ok la. didnt fall asleep! haha but also nt pay attention 100% la. but still got pay!

then i was rather happy it was lunch time! yayy. but then one of my tuition kid say today dun wan tuition. ok nvm, then another tuition kid's mom called me and say for the time being the girl dun wan tuition. -.- haiss. sad anot? i lost 2 tuitions sessions today which could earn me almost 100 in total plus future money from her. sian.. but nvm! i will look for other sources for income! which i alrd found yest! but haven apply la haha.

but sad cos i only teach her for 1mth only. and i invested in her a maths assessment book. i told her it was a gift. tsk shouldnt say is a gift then can take back and reuse! >< oh welll. wad to do.

okay, so at first got tuition from 5-9 which is usually quite a feat. but today dun hav. oh well. so go home! but while i was at a kodak shop asking them abt whether they print brochures. to my horror, the staffs dun really understand english!? KODAK leh, not KOYAK! -.- loll. then i say in chinese, i said chuan dan, fen chuan dan na ge. then she thought is fax (chuan zhen). what siaa. total failure. when she finally got it she said dun hav. -.- make me so pekchek when i leave the shopp! lol haiiiiis.

nvm! so i took my bus home. i was still sian-ing abt how today had turned out and then dunno why where im sitting on had some weird sticky stuff on the bottom part of the chair, cos i pulled my leg back. then yucks damn sticky two lines across one of my small thigh. at first i thought is honey cos it looks like. so i asked the auntie beside me for tissue -.- she seems quite nice so i complained to her abt the sticky stuff haha. then she gave me some tissue. woahhh when i wipe, the part where i was wiping hurts you know!! then i know is glue liao! wthh!!! is those kind of cobbler's glue?! looks like honey colour and dammmn sticky one right!! arghh i was so siaaaan trying to clean off but so pain -.- like my skin going to tear off like that. then the auntie say go home wash lor. haha. yeah lo. so i did. siannn to the max right! :S

oh well. but at least im at home le. it means less trouble. i thought no more le! then i was sleeping sleeping. when i wake up, it was dinnertime. so i go ard my house looking for my dad and sis who are supposed to be at home, which they were b4 i slept. and my sis was even sleeping soundly like a log and never close her room window -.- lol. then, you guessed it, i walked around a few times trying to find them, then realise they disappeared! quite freaky one you know! :S so i called them and they say they went out. :/

yeahh. thats what happened today. so far. no no no more pls! haha. tmr shall be a great day okay! the rest of the week and next week shall be greaaaat!! and forever more! haha :D but seriously, today sucks hor. so ke lian. :/ haha.

yes, actually now i got the money to buy my stuff. thats good! but im also tempted to save them up! cos it cheers me to see high amt of money in my bank as much as buying new stuff! thats also good right? :) hahah.. oh well. i guess specs wont be too soon then. loll. and soktheng and annie ask me go holiday... hmm i dun really wan to spend the money leh. maybe organise an outing instead bah.. :S hope they wont feel too disappointed that i not going cos i dont hav alot of money. lol :S

im currently quite annoyed at some ignorant foreigners in my sch now.. i dont really have a strong thing against foreigners but those ignorant ones are so annoying :S and theyre all girls! but lucky theyre not from china. though some also i see bu shun yan :X they are from i dunno.. viet/thai/indo/phili? those kind la.. you get the idea...

last time, got one jus stand in the middle of the aisle, i wan to move she jus treat me as transparent, dont even wanna budge. -.-

then today, another one was sitting at the outmost seat of a empty row of seats. i wan to go in she dont even care? i mean, if u see someone wans to get in you dont have to wait until they say excuse me right. i dont bother saying la. hmph, so i go other place sit -.-

and then! another one sitting beside me, she got so much space on the other side dunno why her elbow mus take up my table space. if my friend nvm la, but stranger wad. act close mehh. -.- and the worse part was she put her tissue at the corner of my space?! eewww?? i was sooo annoyed! such an eyesore.. >< i had to face the other side and put my hand to my head to block so i wont see and feel less annoyed. loll. and its so near me, so i moved a little away from her, and when i flip my paper i flipped it abit harder so the wind will move the tissue 1cm more away from me :S loll quite stupid hor? but when u are annoyed sometimes u do stupid things like these. then after a looooong while then i think she realise and put it at her own table -.- then my annoyance disappeared too. lol. i v fair one la. dont get myself angry for the whole day for wad, unhealthy! loll

gahh i hate menstrual cramps.. :( so painful i cant even fall asleep to ease the pain, jus toss around in bed and whinee :/ anw other than that, in e morning i clear my room abit. quite satisfied w my room :) jus a few stuff to clear then nice liao. then after that when my pain was better i clear my wardrobe too! i tried clothes that i never even wear before hahaa. but haven pack finish, when finished everything will be sorted out neatly, wan to choose clothes also easier :) im so proud of myself today, nv use com.. only phone la. jus check updates only.

but i shant keep lazing around when im at home! i should study more! so i will ACE! or at least pass my exams so i dont have to go thru these boredoms again!!! i should also keep my room and wardrobe neat and tidy! ;D and i should read more books! and spend more time with God! see michelle, so many things to do at home! stop feeling bored at home seriouslyy =.=

oh oh, i jus thought of something i need to buy: assessment books for my students! ok no rush no rush, tuition is on thurs! haha chill :) it kinda rocks that tuition is lessened cos i have more free time but of cos lesser money lo. free time inversely proportionate with money! omg! my wish was granted! read the last sentence of my prev post,two days later, today, someone really nice really talked to me!! yayy :D so happy haha. at least i wont feel that lonely! though only some class same as her, mayb other classes OTHER ppl will talk to me too? hehehe okayy, at least i know theres still some friendliness in my sch loll.

oh ya, yest, i helped someone pick up smth that she dropped and she gave me a warm smile , i was so shocked. haha but it was end of lesson. if got chance mayb can see how. i like nice ppl! :))

hais today my new tutee sms me say her mom wan tuition 1.5h only. so dumb laa also not she study why she so niao. or maybe her daughter dun wan, which i doubt so. my tutee was nice. at first i thought the mom mayb not so rich tts why like keep trying to adjust the no. of hrs. but noo they got maid lorr the house quite nice. tsk. i think mayb im on trial then... hahah oh well, wad a cautious mom, dun wan any how waste money.. >< jiayou to me then!! :S

okayy, seems like i have lesser tuition than i expected. but still got money la! jus that i cant save as much. nvm, when their syf ends hope they will resume twice a week, or whatever other ways bah. once a week not enough la for them hahah. aiyah, but i shall be contented as well. currently is actually enough for me to spend plus save abit liao la.

everyday i go sch i eat the same old food, veggie rice. my sch coffeeshop there quite cheap. everyday only spend 2.50! not bad lehh.. even my transport is higher -.- of cos, when go out other times spend more la.. haha. maybe i should reset my budget again to save moree now that i earn less i'll spend less! i prefer seeing the amount in my bank increasing hehe :D

anw sch is boring as usuall. *yawns* lets hope some nice student will talk to me and be my friend so i wont be so bored!

when i was younger, like in secondary sch, i always hear ppl say accounting in uni is very boring blah blah.. then i went on to tertiary and took up accounts and other subjects but i find accounts quite interesting.

now, im at uni stage, yes i agree! my school had been very boring!! hahaha. its becos everything u learn is abt accounts, theres no english, no maths, no PE, no recess with great friends..... no wonder! haha..

and actually i prefer self-study at home with all the resources i need and practise on my own rather than go school listen to teacher talk and teach luh. boring leh. :/

but my parents wouldnt allow me and wont see the point of me skipping school and they will say, "pay money one leh, dont waste" etc. haha. so i shall be good girl and jus go for class. and after class do my own self-study.

but ah.. i cant stand SOME of the foreigners luhh. they are jus so ignorant of others cann. tsktsk.

oh, and this week dont have to teach tuition! they all wan next week then start. good and bad thing. haha. ohwells.

yesterday had performance management class, it was okay la but not interesting. today was taxation. new stuff, learn more things but its quite boring except to see how much money the govt is going to suck money from me soon!!! !@#*! lol.....

so, finally after a short-but-feels-kinda-long break, school is finally starting soon! and going to start the hectic tuition! quite sian but quite looking forward.

sian becos i'll be back in 'china' again and i'll hav to spend quite some money and time and effort on transport. tedious man-- the cons of tuition. and go sch take mrt mus keep changing lines.

ohh and the same old coffeeshop :/ maybe i can try find another coffeeshop nearby bah.. lol. and i jus hope the lessons wont bore me to sleep. this yr's should be more challenging so hope it'll interest me :)

looking forward becos... im always an optimistic person! haha :) tuition=$$$! (Y) school=learn new things&& earn $$ in future. oops! why isit all abt money?? :/ i'll also try make new friends in sch!

happy new year to all! really hope this year will be a GREAT year! an enjoyable and meaningful one :)) i give thanks to God for 2010! He has been faithful despite me being often unfaithful to Him :/ sorry God! i'll be better this yr :D

thank God for putting me in ACCA. at first that was like my backup plan for my further studies in case i cant get into uni. but it was indeed a blessing in disguise as i feel that this would be much suitable for me as compared to the courses in uni. and i think i see more future for myself! yay! :) thankyou God :D hope i'll be a good girl this yr and study well! and strive for excellent results!! ;)) heehee.

thank God for the supply of finances in 2010! indeed all the jobs i have were God-given. first is the relief teaching. its only becos Mr Tbt found favour in me that he will intro me to teach in CTSS! its really unexpected for me. great source of income! heheh. and soon after, the tuitions that i have were gotten effortlessly! i applied for tuition agencies but it didnt work. but i got the chinese tuition centre cos some random person called me from nowhere. and then my neighbour needed tuition. and then Cindy came to ask me if i wan teach English tuition cos she got lobang. and, the student that i taught english also introduced me to her friend for me to teach maths! which i was really thankful for. cos i think maths is much of my forte compared to english! haha. and then they also introduced for me another student for me to teach this year too. so the blessings actually overflowed from 2010 to 2011, i have 3 tuitions to teach where it is 5 sessions in total per week. if i faithfully teach and they faithfully learn, i will earn quite a fair bit of money so i can finally save now! hurray! thank God for the overflowing favour that i have! :))

and of course, thank God that I've found my Love! :)) it was really unexpected. i estimated to find one only this yr but it actually came earlier, so its really awesome! and my parents also acknowledges this relationship, which im glad as well. heehee yeah, so my love life had been great :) with a little downs and more ups. lets work together that our relationship would be stronger! so nothing will separate us. hehe! :)

thank God loads for such a great 2010! i look forward to even more blessings in 2011 and to work with God even more to please Him :))

hi my fellow readers! as you can see, i did a thorough spring cleaning on my blog! its now a new beginning for my blog; a new chapter of life for me as 2011 comes really near. so i hope i can update this blog regularly. :)

my resolutions for the new year 2011:

1. sleep by 12am (esp on school days.)

2. not be late for school

3. exercise at least once a week

4. pray everyday!

5. be a mugger!

6. read 1 book per month

7. keep my room tidy at all times!

8. eat fruits everyday

9. learn to play the keyboard

10. dont neglect my friends! (:

okay 10 resolutions, just nice. (: 2010 had been a great year for me! lets hope for a even better year in 2011! it shall be a fruitful year!
